Some of the snow showers affecting parts of Scotland and northern England during Saturday will now extend into the early hours of Sunday morning too, especially across some north west coastal regions. Mixed in with the very cold temperatures expected to develop throughout Saturday night and into Sunday, this could lead to some potentially dangerous conditions on the roads at times.
